I brought my 2018 Passat in for a couple of possibly warrantable concerns, one being the L/F speaker rattling, number 2 I'm getting a brake vibration, and lastly my hazard indicator switch had fallen behind the bezel of the dashboard. I live in the Beckley area so I had dropped my vehicle off over the weekend for them to service during the week. At about 8:15AM on Monday (5/20/2019) I get a call from my service advisor (Dalton Pence) that they were having trouble duplicating the speaker concern or the vibration concern (they were able to correct the hazard switch concern by re-attaching the connector), to which Dalton very politely inquired for more information regarding certain songs for the speaker rattle (which I found odd, because it was happening constantly, on every kind of song from which I remembered, but I told him mainly bass heavy songs) and certain speeds for the brake vibration. I offered as much information as I possibly could. A few hours later, probably around 2-3PM I received another call from Dalton in which he explains that they still were unable to duplicate either concern despite the additional information. Being in the business myself I understood, I have had to explain the same thing to clients, sometimes vehicles just don't act up when you bring them in to service. Mr. Dalton said they were done with my vehicle since they were unable to replicate the issues. I told him I did not live in Charleston, but Beckley so I would need him to lock the keys in the vehicle and I would be by after close to pick the vehicle up with my spare key.Or so I thought. So after I get off work at about 7PM, I catch a ride from a friend to give me a lift all the way to Charleston, which is about an hour away from me. Once I get there, I fail to find my car in the front parking area, perplexed, in an attempt to reveal my vehicle maybe just parked somewhere my eyes weren't immediately picking up I hit the panic button and hear my horn sounding. My vehicle was locked behind their gates, unable to be retrieved that evening despite clear communication with the service department about my intention to pick it up after-hours with the spare key. I'm understandably upset that I've burned gas, a favor, and 2 hours out of a day where I've already worked 11 hours. I understand, these things happen, people forget, everyone is human. I'm not upset at this point.Fast forward to the next day (05/21/2019) I'm trying to figure out what happened and if I can come get my vehicle that evening. My first call placed to the service department was at about 8AM, and I left Mr. Dalton a voicemail explaining the situation. About 9:30AM rolls around and I've yet to receive a call back, so I call the main number instead of Dalton's direct line, and I'm informed he was with a customer, so I explained the situation to the polite receptionist, and to please have Dalton give me a call back. I wait another hour (10:30AM) and still had not heard from Mr. Dalton. I'm just getting impatient at this point, because I would desperately like a word on whether or not my vehicle will be in a retrievable position this time, so I call back into the main line and request the Service Manager, who is understandably busy at the time, so I left him a voicemail explaining the entire situation. That seemed to have did it, and I get a phone call from Mr. Dalton at about 11:15AM, seemingly unaware of the situation. So I explain, and Mr. Dalton informs me there must have been a mistake and that my vehicle will be in an accessible spot when I come to pick up that afternoon. All in all, a frustrating situation, but not too bad, remember everyone is human and makes mistakes and things happen.Until I reviewed my dash cam footage, wanting to ensure everything necessary was done to duplicate my concerns. Less than 5 minutes the first morning when whoever pulled my vehicle in, I hear him say "he blew his F****** speaker out", and they only ever touched the vehicle once, and drove less than 5 miles, even after Mr. Dalton got additional information for the concerns.Terrible.

The Holland's are very nice people to chat with and very friendly. I like the fact that the Holland's actually physically work their and pride themselves in being there everyday to work. They have a pleasant, friendly, and family like, atmosphere for the all of their other employees which is unlike most other businesses in which most Owners allow others to run them. The Holland's treat others as equals and work along side them like they are just part of the normal crew. They also have awesome deals everyday on their decent sized selection of vehicles. There is definately a Vehicle of every size, for everyone's desires, to choose from. They For sure have my vote!!!☺✔
